Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Bill. I used to work with him at Georgetown Condominiums. He was always such a pleasure to be around. He was a genuine caring person and I am glad I had the privilege to work with him.

All honor to his name.

Remembering the days of playing at your house in Bethesda. Rest in pease my cousin.

Forever the faithful Deacon fan and alumnus. I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing.

Bill had the incredible ability to deal with adversity and difficulties with a smile on his face and joy in his heart. Knowing the Bill Whitehurst I knew in high school, I am sure he lived rejoicing even through the challenges he had to face. We lost a wonderful friend that will be missed by all. Blessings and peace to the Whitehurst family.

Here was a man who was the managing partner of a large office with all sorts of demands on his time, who took valuable time from his day to correspond with a first-year student seeking guidance from someone so accomplished and successful. Sometimes, it's the little things one remembers. Though I unfortunately never had the pleasure to meet Bill in person, I'll never...

Jane,
Jim and I are so saddened to learn that Bill has passed away. What a wonderful, accomplished life he led, in spite of his many physical challenges. Please know that you and your sons are in our thoughts and prayers and give my best wishes to David, Alden and William who I had the opportunity to know well as their college counselor. I regret that I didn't have the chance to know Robert, too, but he is among a group of terrific brothers who Bill loved. Thinking of Bill, I am...

In memory of a wonderful person. Bill would come over and judge our contests at the CMF at Womble and was always smiling. Sending thoughts and prayers for the entire family.

Sending my sincere condolences to Ms. Jane and the family during this difficult time. May you find comfort knowing he's with the Lord.
