Not sure what to say?

Billie inspired me in so many ways. She married my father William R. Williams, and that changed all our lives forever. She mentored me and gave me insight that carried through my education and professional career. I truly believe I am a better person in every way because of Billie. She was dedicated to her family and her career, and was a pleasure to be with. I recall our last conversation, I called her to tell her about my most recent career opportunity and shared with her how she inspired...

Billies courageous fighting spirit and her deep belief and faith in the power of group development through honesty and transparency has transformed organizations. I am so lucky to have known her as a dear neighbor to my mother Doris and a caring mentor to me as we collaborated on OD projects and worked with students. I know Billie is gathering all the angels adding a new voice to the heavenly choir!

I would not be as successful in the field of OD had I not met Billie. I found her to be very warm and willing to help others improve their craft and practice. She had great insights into the psychology of large group dynamics and was a major contributor to the field. She will be missed, as I already do.

Billie was a friend and sometime collaborator. She was spritely and inspiring in her 80s when she facilitated a series of Open Space meetings for us at Pitney Bowes. She always had confidence that if you gave people the freedom to create their own agendas, all the right issues would be discussed. I learned so much from her. She will be missed!

A thought of comfort and condolences to the griving family. Please be strengthen by God's loving words at John 6:40.

Billie lives on in the minds and hearts of the lives and communities she touched with her wisdom. May God speed, beautiful and generous soul, mentor and friend.

Billie was not only a wonderful friend but a generous mentor who shared and coached others in her life-revitalizing group processes. She was always willing to give her input, wisdom and insight on behalf of the institutions we served. I will never forget her inspirational character. I remember her with joy and love whenever I employ the coaching and knowledge that was her legacy. Billie was truly a great gift and we commend her to the Lord she loved and served.

Billie, writing our chapter, On the Shoulders of Giants: The Roots of OD' was one of the most rewarding projects of my career.
We have lost one of our great lights. . . Go well, dear lady. . .
Love,
John
