Not sure what to say?

While listening to the sounds of a piano, a saxophone, and the strings of a violin down the hall of a classroom assignment I picked up for the day at Booker T. Washington, I experienced a flashback of a memory of my last Violin instructor Billie Cook. She taught violin at El Centro College once upon a time, as well. She was a patient and precise teacher. I wish I could continue lessons with her today.

I miss you, mama! You were such an inspiration: a lover of the arts, a supporter of just causes, and a dynamic go-getter and loyal friend to many!! I am a passionate teacher, today, mostly because of your DNA and your influence. Missing you- love, Camille

What a lovely woman! She was our son's violin teacher for many years, in her home. She was patient and caring and talented. Thank you dear Billie Cook, and best wishes to your...
