Billie was always kind to us growing up and made it fun to go visit the neighbors for Batman, Dark Shadows, games outside, raking leaves or whatever would come. Billie is such an integral part of my growing up on Vernon Drive. She arrived on our street as a beautiful blonde widow with two young children that fast became my best friends, in an impressive convertible that she loved to pack full of thrilled kids. She was always the fun Mom. She had no problem rolling up the rugs and blaring the song 'Twist & Shout' on the record player as we everyone got our grove on. She was as beautiful inside as she was outside. Mitch was in my class at school...
