Billie Luisi-Potts

I recently came across an old picture of us inside of the shul on Eldridge Street in New York. In my minds eye, I see your smile, your shock of red hair, and I can hear your wisdom. Your words come to me as a dream remembered, a voice spurring me on to do better, to care more about my body, to never forget the women who came before us, and and how one woman, you Billie, could make such a lasting positive impact on so many. I miss you, dear Shvesta.

I have a health issue that popped up and i thought "aha I will pull out my witches heal!" my favorite herbal. I decided to look up Billie and was sad to see she had passed. I met her in Herkimer back in 1998. She knew her stuff. I'm so glad to have met her and still have this reference.
