Not sure what to say?

To LeMoyne and the extended Miller family, As his 1st Cousin. I always remember how proud the Miller family was of him being part of the greatest generation to service in the military during WWII. .

Uncle Lee, I will miss you with all my heart. You are the best man I have ever known. My arms are around you Aunt Zella and LeMoyne; praying for you daily and sending my love.

I had the pleasure of teaching with Billie along side of him as we both substituted in the Monteau and Slippery Rock School districts. He was the best teacher and I learned so much from him. I could say he was my mentor. He would always walk through the halls and when he would see you, he would reach in his pocket and give you a peppermint candy. I will really miss seeing him in the halls and teaching in the classrooms. He was an exceptional friend and colleague. No one will ever take...

I am so sorry for you loss. Mr. Miller was the best sub you could have. All of us would listen to Mr.Miller telling us his military stories. He was such an awesome teacher. I loved him very much. I saw him in walmart about 4 years ago and he remembered me and even remembered my name and I was amazed with all the students he had, that he would even remember me. He was a great person and an inspiration to many of us at Slippery Rock. He will be missed by all his "kids".

When I knew we were going to have Mr. Miller as a sub, I would actually look forward to going to school! Mr. Miller always had great stories to tell us, those were the days that class was too short. I will miss you Mr. Miller. I know you'll be watching over us students at Moniteau High School. (class of 2006)

Zella, Lemoyne, amd the entire Miller Family,
Just wanted to take this oportunity to again say thank you for sharing your husband/father with the rest of us. He had such an impact on so many peoples lives. I will miss - but never forget -his huge smile, it would light up any room. My sisters and I feel truly blessed to have known Mr Miller and to have been taught by him. His stories will remain with us forever. You are each in our prayers.

The Miller Family,

I was shocked to learn my all time favorite (sixth grade) teacher from Connoquenessing Joint Elementary school had passed away! Mr. Miller was a catalyst in my deciding to become an elementary school teacher. I used to give the rest of my sixth grade class the spelling test on Fridays becasue I got a 100% on the practice test on Wednesdays. I started to really enjoy giving the tests and making up sentences for the spelling words. (I do not teach today, but I...

So sorry for your loss, Mr. Miller was absolutely the BEST teacher ever. I was fortunate to have him as a sub in the 90's at Slippery Rock, he taught us more about human kindness in a class period than some people get in an entire lifetime. He is sadly missed and truly loved. An angel that touched so many lives, rest in peace.
