I'm so sad to hear about Mr Oden's passing. He was a wonderful man, the only principal I ever knew, he actually was more like a father to us all. I have several memories with him that I have thought about often in the 40 years since we graduated. RIP Billie, you have lived an exemplary and extraordinary life!

Mr. Oden was my very favorite principal at Pinson. He was there when I started to school. I had and still do have a great respect for him. He was the best. Last time I saw him he came through my drive through at McDonald's in 2005. After all this long we both recognized each other. He had never changed, still the great man I remember. May you rest in peace, my dear friend.
