Billy & Jenny Carter

Jenny and I played flute together, and she was always there if I needed her. She was one of the kindest people I have ever met. I am lucky I was able to make music with her, and I know how important it was in her life. She was strong and consistent in her faith, and she was a light to get to know. I am so happy she found someone she loved and was able to get married. Wishing her family all the strength that God can provide during this horrible time. Jenny was and is loved.

I got to serve with Billy (Elder Carter) in the MTC and as I got to know him and serve with him for the few weeks we were together, I got to know and learn from him that his quiet strength reflected on his faith, where it really made a impact everyone around him in the MTC and at Tennessee. I served with Billy (Elder Carter) in November and December of 2019. I loved spending time with him and greatly admired his quiet strength and testimony. I was so happy for him when I learned of his engagement to Jenny. I'm so grateful that he was part of my life, and I know that the people he served in Tennessee are as well.
