Not sure what to say?

I'm just seeing this obituary but I felt compelled to comment. At his father's urging my son played football on Coach Billy's team at Municipal Park. Steven felt Billy would be a positive influence for my son since Mr. Bedsole was so highly regarded in the Mobile community and was so well known to be active both in his church and in the local sports community. Steven thought the experience would be invaluable for Joe. Saddened for the loss to the Mobile sports community.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Bedsole´s passing. He was a dear friend to my parents who loved him dearly and have both passed. His legacy will always be Municipal ballpark where he devoted his life to. Please know the family is in my prayers. Tonya Shackelford

Mamie, Diane and I are shocked by Billy's death. I telephoned Billy just a few days before his death and had a wonderful and lengthy talk-our first contact in years. You and your family are in our prayers. Frank"Butch" Ellis Jr

My sincere condolences. Billy defended me against another law firm on ethical grounds, resulting in their disqualification to represent my opponents. This was a crucial case for all of my family and allowed us to gain a fair settlement. He showed knowledge and dedication beyond just doing a job, as others have said about him in all areas of his life. I have great admiration for him, and know he will be missed.

Billy & I attended Bible Study Fellowship together for many years until his untimely illness & his passing. My condolences are extended to his wife Mamie.
