To the Byrd family, I have great sorrow in my heart for the family at this time. I did not know Mr. Byrd personally but I work with Billy Joe and I've listened to him speak about his Dad with such love and admiration. I pray for you all during this time of mourning and hope that you can find comfort knowing he is at peace and in the arms of God.

Lynne and I are so sorry to hear of Billy passing. Billy and I spent a good bit of time together when we were growing up, but I'm sorry to say our lives drifted apart with the everyday responsibilities of life which didn't seam to allow enough time for anything else.
I will always have fond memories of time spent having fun together.
