I live in Ridgeland so it was and still is a true blessing to me that Billy opened Fresh Way Produce on Old Canton Rd. You may or may not remember me. I was pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Chruch in the late eighties and was the pastor that performed Homer's homegong service. I got to know you all during his illness and death, particularly Billy. I sure am sad to hear of his passing. We had many good discussions about heaven. I pray that the Lord will show Himself strong in your sorrow, and I pray that you will continue to focus on the promise of "better things" for those who trust Him (Heb 6)....

We were driving by the market today around 1 p.m and I noticed the bows on the doors and Mary Evelyn and I turned around and drove through your parking lot not knowing who they were for and finally we looked up and saw the big sign about Mr. Billy.
