As a member of the Church in New york, I Was foutunate to meet Billy and benifit from his hard work and tireless efforts. Truely he was a leader who will be missed. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Pat and family. My heart goes out to you and the rest of the Cox family during this time of sorrow. Also to those whose lives were touched by Billy Ray. I am so glad I had the chance to meet and get to know you both. The Lords Church in Springfield Gardens was blessed to spend some time with you and Billy a few short years ago and that trip was more rewarding than you can imagine. Just know that you are loved and that Billy Ray will be missed but remembered deeply within our hearts. God...

Pat & Family
From those Sunday morning Amazing Grace bible classes in the Heritage at Harding to his teaching and preaching here at Springfield Gardens during his visits to NYC; Billy Ray has truly been one of my greatest mentors. Just a few weeks ago Billy Ray lifted up a very difficult day I was having with a letter he wrote me concerning the church here in the "Gardens." This "Bear" will continue to stand tall is so many people's lives! We Love You Pat.

Billy Ray was a larger-than-life person in many ways. He will be sorely missed by all. God Bless his family at this difficult time.

David and Scooter, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, but I am sure he has grand home in heaven. If Joe or I can do anything for you please let me know. God Bless you all at this difficult time, With Christian Love

May you rest in peace and may light perpetual always shine upon you. If one's good deeds on earth are any indication, then you will certainly spend eternity next to our Heavenly Father.

Pat and Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Cox. Some of my favorite memories from Harding are of sitting in his Business Law class, impressed with his vast knowledge and teaching ability, and of the American Studies trips with him and Dr. Burks. Thanks to the two of them, the trips were never boring! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dale,
My heart goes out to you. I wish I could have been there for you during this time - I just found out tonight. I will miss your DAD, the memories at the Academy are priceless while he was a prof at Harding University. My son is there now, and they mentioned this in chapel today - he called me and asked if I knew Billy Ray. I'm in Corinth,TX (almost in Denton). Let's meet sometime.

Pat, I was saddened yesterday to learn of the passing of your beloved Billy Ray (Bear). I was thinking of him on Sunday as we were passing the home-place where he and his mother lived in West Mountain near where one of my brothers (Gary) now lives. I could also show you the place where he was baptized nearby during a gospel meeting there in the summer of 1946 I think. Also my wife Joan Crawford McCrary was a classmate of your's in Gladewater.
