Billy Ray "Bill" Davis, age 69, was born June 4, 1946 in Fresno, CA, the son of Woodrow Davis and Helen Neomi (Daniel) Davis and had lived most of his life in the Swink and Ft. Towson area. He married Judy Kay Mayberry on March 17, 1970 in Reno, NV. She preceded him in death on March 23, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry Travis Davis and Woodrow "Smokey" Davis. Bill served in the U.S. Army as a Medical Corpsman during the Vietnam War. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed telling jokes to his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, tinkering and was an excellent carpenter. He was also a pipefitter. Bill was of the Baptist faith. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: sons, Jessy Ray Davis and wife, Marina of Ft. Towson and Jason Davis of Ft. Towson; daughter, Amy Virginia Covington and husband, Michael of Ft. Towson; brother, George Winfield "Bud" Davis of Smithville, OK; sister Gwendolyn Elaine "Gwen" Routh and husband, Rusty of Smithville, OK; grandchildren, Chelsea Adams, Carley Roden, Anecia Ray Davis, Rucus Ray Davis, Anaya Helen Davis, Jaicee Davis, Alex Davis and Jacob Davis; great grandchildren, Carter Kent Adams, Kylee Renee Adams and Jade Alice-Kay Adams along with many other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES: Place: Graveside ~ Swink Cemetery ~ Swink, OK Date: Monday ~ February 22, 2016 Time: 10:00 A.M. Officiating: Bro. Travis Farmer Interment: Swink Cemetery ~ Swink, OK VISITATION: the family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 P.M., Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home, 410 South "F" Street, Hugo, OK

He was the best dad , anyone could ever ask for he was there for me and many others , and I mean my kid friends and there family's and took so so many in ! He was a man of many world's and a man of many places and most of all he loved all ! Most of all my mother , this man made me a man ! And to this day I only wish I was half the man he was ! I love you Dad !

Coming upon 10 months and nothing is any easier...I will forever miss you as you are my brother, best friend and like a Dad all rolled into one..We shared 61 yrs as brother and sister and never had 1 argument..Thank you for coming to my rescue more times than I can count. nI love you and miss you..:(
