           Billy “Bill” Joe Ervin, Jr., age 63, formerly of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home in Nashville, Arkansas. Bill was born December 10, 1954 in Virginia. He was retired from Alan White, Co. in Stamps.


            Bill was preceded in death by his father, Billy J. Ervin; son, Randy Ervin; and both sets of grandparents.


            He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ervin of Nashville, AR; one daughter, Kelly Hardin and husband, Billy of Nashville, AR; mother, Joe Anne Ervin of Lewisville, AR; four grandsons, Cade Hardin of Fayetteville, AR; John Hardin of Magnolia, AR; Zack Ervin and Blake Ervin both of Washington; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Downs and wife, Debra of Stamps, AR.


            Honoring Bill as pallbearers will be Tim Spruell, Robert Hanson, Todd Spakes, Tommy Harmon, David Vickers and Stephen Nottingham.


            Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel on Thomas Street in Stamps, AR with Bro. Mike Turner and Robert Davidson officiating. Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
