I was in school with Tootie (Billy) Hill at Coffee High School in Florence, Alabama. We were good friends during this time and were members of the 1957 graduating class. I followed his career in football not only at CHS but also at Mississippi State and the University of Alabama. I was in Tuscaloosa the night he was named MVP of the All-Star game.
