Not sure what to say?

I remember Mr. Hitt from W. W. Bushman Elementary when I was in the second grade,1956-57. I believe it was a couple of years later when he took a position at another school and was replaced by Mr. Jack Sisco.

Best teacher I had in Jr. High. A great man will be missed.

This was Bill's favorite thing to do when we were in Colorado. We loved flyfishing together, and I learned it from the best!

Coach Hitt was a great and passionate man. The comments left by so many sums up how great he was.

The finest coach and role model ever. He taught us what men should be in victory and defeat.

I was hired by Bill to coach football and track in 1965 at Boude Storey. We enjoyed a great teaching staff and great athletes until we both moved to Gaston Junior High in 1971 where he won the last City Championship in 1976. Bills career was as glamorize and exciting as the wonderful people he enjoyed teaching and coached. Undoubtedly those who surrounded Bill will never forget the bright light he was to their lives.
