Billy Gene Martin

I think of special memories with Billy and Mary visiting my mom when she was in the hospital.

So sorry to see that Billy passed away. I just tried calling their phone number and then went to the computer to locate them. I hadn´t heard from them in a couple years. I know he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

So sad to learn of the passing of Billy. Our parents Eddie and Pat Davis (unfortunately mom passed in 2018 and dad in 2020) were friends with Billy and Mary for over 60 years. Dad and Billy met while in the Air Force. Even after our family moved from Portland in the early 1960´s, mom and dad made many trips back to Portland and always got together with Billy and Mary. We 3 girls have many memories from living just across from the Martin´s on Schiller St. In a way of honoring our parents...

Mr. Martin was such a nice man and know he will be greatly missed by he family and friends. Can't help but smile a little when I think about Billy and my Dad in the presence of the Lord together. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Billy and Mary were very good friends of my parents. Billy and Mary came to the hospital to be with my mom when she was diagnosed with cancer. They were there is the good and the bad. Praying for you Mary as you miss your life partner. You both are a testimony to what a Christian marriage is all about! Love and Prayers!
