Billy Wade Moffatt

Billy Wade Moffatt, age 70, of Crossett, AR passed away on March 15, 2014 at LifeTouch Hospice in El Dorado, AR. He was born on March 31, 1943 in Crossett, AR to his parents, Harold and Jeanne Kitley Moffatt. Mr. Moffatt was retired from Georgia Pacific after 39 years of service and was a steward for the IAM Union for 14 years. He served in the National Guard. Mr. Moffatt served for 37 years on the Crossett Rescue Unit. He was a long time member of the NRA and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Moffatt was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Gail Moffatt of Crossett, AR; one daughter, Dustin Tester of Maui, HI; two brothers, Hal Moffatt of George West, TX, Kit Moffatt of Tallahassee, FL; one sister, Mary Alice Holmes of Conway, AR and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Watt officiating under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.
