I knew Billy since High School on Football team. After he got out of Marines he an I Rode to School together at Crossville. He would come out to my house an help my Mom Rachel cook breakfast an Coffee.He was a good freind forever.He was one of the faithfulest members of the DAV.I will never forget Billy Pelfry a Good Man

I met Billy in Vietnam in 1969. Billy and I developed a good friendship, as well as did a few others in our Regiment. Billy was proud to be in the Marines performing a job most Americans held in disdain and vastly unpopular. Having said this, we knew little of the feelings traveling about our country.
