Not sure what to say?

As a teenager, I bowled in an adult league at Expressway Lanes with my mother. We did get a bit loud at times, enough that two deputies told Billy they'd never come there again. Billy laughed and said "Fine, so long as our group kept coming. " Such a down to earth Gentleman.

Billy was a great friend and client to me. What began as a business relationship evolved into a great friendship over the course of many months, meals, and rounds of golf.

Billy (in many ways) loved to entertain. In his last weeks of life, he wanted to have a dinner party at his home for the NCAA final four basketball games. Billy was never interested in cooking (understatement), so asked me to put it together. After Carolina won that Saturday night, we,- in our excitement and...

Our prayers are with the family and loved ones during this time of sympathy.

The Lighthouse Prayer Team

Billy was a warm hearted wonderful man. I'm so sorry to his family and friends of his passing. You all are in my prayers that the Lord comforts your hearts.

We'll all one fine day get to see his baby blue eyes and his smiling face.

He was dearly loved and I and many others will truly miss him.

I had seen him recently and chatted with him at Nobel's and as always he was dressed so classy and was always smiling...and joking around. He was ONE of a...

Pam: If I could ease your pain I would but only God can grant you peace and give you the comfort that you need at this time. I wish I could be with you but work keeps me away and be assured that my thoughts and prayers are with you and family. My love to you all and God bless you. Your friend in Civitan, Martha

As a salesman with Titleist Golf Co, I first met Bill Satterfield while Bermuda Run Country Club was under construction. Immediately, I took a liking to Bill and we remained very close friends over the years.

Although he never had a formal education, he was a genius within his profession of building and developing. His many accomplishments came from dogged determination and hard work. When he took on a project you could be assured it would be done first class. The golf club he...

Dear Satterfield Family, I have great memories of Mr. Satterfield. I worked for him for a couple of years at Olde Beau. I appreciated everything he did for me at that time in my life. He was a very giving man. He will always live on in his visions that became his realities and legacy. My prayers are with you at this time.

Pam and Family... You know I am
thinking of you

Not only was Bill a great cousin, but he was a wonderful friend to my parents Jim & Betty Myers. When my father was dying and no one could get him to engage in conversation, Bill would walk into the room, start talking about old times and that's all it would take. Like my husband says, Bill was like a spark plug to my dad. He was a great source of comfort and joy to my father in his final days, and for that we will always be grateful. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you and...
