Dear Karol, You were in my fourth grade class at Evergreen Elementary in 1970-71, and I remember you well--a delightful, friendly, studious, and very well-adjusted young girl, obviously the progeny of great parents and their pride and joy. You were a reflection of the full, exemplary, and successful life your dad lived.. You are in my heart and on my mind as you grieve his loss. I was on the team the first year Coach Smithpeters came to Mead, which was 67-68. He made a huge impact on my life in such a positive way. I have kept in touch with him since then and he's always so positive and happy. I owe much to him.
