Bill was a great support to a generation of medical students at UAB. He was a wonderful guide to all of us and his humor will be missed.

Bill was one of finest men I ever met He was liked and respected and he had a great sense of humor. I have lost a dear friend.

It saddens me to hear this. I was so very fortunate to work in the nursery at Dawson with “Mr. Bill,”’ as he was lovingly known. He had a special gift and love for children and they loved him too. I always looked forward to Sunday mornings with him.
Mrs. Karen , I will remember you and your sweet family in my prayers.
Fondly,
Ellen Tipton
