Billy Franklin Wyatt

MARION, VA

William “Billy” Franklin Wyatt, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at his home in Marion, VA. 

Billy was born in Marion, VA, to the late Frank and Lora Wyatt. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Wyatt; grandson, Michael Rouse; brother, David Wyatt; and sister, Shirley Bowman. Billy was a talented and dedicated carpenter who loved spending time in his basement workshop, crafting cabinets, tables, and countless other pieces over the years. He also worked for many years as a roofer, taking great pride in his work and the skills he developed throughout his life. Billy worked many years, and retiring from Utility Trailer in Glade Spring, VA. 

He is survived by his children Benny Sexton & wife Nannie, Danny Sexton & wife Karen, Allen Blevins & wife Rosa, Beverly Pennington & husband Adam, and Carolyn Blevins & husband Roger; granddaughter Leighann Moore; grandson Tristian Pennington; great grandchildren Caitlynn Goodlow, Landon Rakovich, and Zachary Rouse; brother Bobby Wyatt & wife Katie; sisters Magdalene Martin & husband Jerry and Louise Ruckert; along with several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM, Friday, October 24, 2025, from the Bradley’s Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Pastor Mike Sage and Pastor Dennis Eller officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00PM on Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleyfh.com.
