Kay, I was so sorry to hear of Billy Ray passing on. He was the first to befriend me when I transfered to the 4th grade at Alta Vista Elementary. We talked so much that we had to be seperated. Our frindship continued all through the school years but later lost touch as I moved away from the old south side. I worked with Bill at Piggly Wiggly on 19th. and Park Lake for several years, and then sold him BBQ when he had his Waco Meat route. He was a good man, and a good friend. He even stopped to see me about parking his travel trailer at my storage facility not long ago. The fact that he is gone will leave an empty space in my heart. He could always make me laugh.
