Gary, please know that Jeff and I are heartbroken for you and your family. We've been thinking about you every single day. Jeff is very thankful that he got to spend time with both of you not long ago. She is a beautiful soul whose warmth and love will continue to shine on.

The staff of the American Cancer Fund® at www.AmericanCancerFund.org is sorry to hear of Birgit's passing. We have just received a memorial donation in her name and our sincere condolences go out to her family.

I first met Birgit shortly after you were married and still remember the story of how you met.
As I recall, you told me how you were taking out your trash to the dumpster the same time Birgit was doing her trash disposal. Weird how some things happen and the wonderful years that followed.
Susan and I always adored her and the great smile. Even though she has moved on, you are all very fortunate to have her as a big part of your lives.
