Bishop Matthew WILLIAMS

Bishop was a great man of God!

It really saddened me to hear of Matthew’s death he was an old classmate at HCC back in the 70’s. Although we didn’t share the same faith I was always impressed with kindness, his thoughtfulness and affection for people. He was a fine gentleman he will be truly missed.

My heart is heavy for the passing of our Jurisdictional Bishop and leader. Heaven has gained a great spiritual warrior. Southwestern Florida Jurisdictional Convocations will certainly not be the same ever again. I will miss your singing and your storytelling and your mighty sermons. May the Lord watch over and keep his loving arms around First Lady Gayle Williams and daughter Denise.

My condolences to Lady Williams and Denise. My prayers are with you and the Brown Memorial family. As a teen raised in College Hill cogic you are family and words ❤ cannot express my sympathy. On behalf of my Mom, Mo. Walker and best friends the Anderson's (they will reach out to you soon), we love you. Bishop will be greatly missed. His love was always with College Hill in and out of the pulpit. The mother church has lost another son.
