Dr. Shaw was my teacher at Hamilton Terrace Jr. High. I can remember how much I loved his classes to this day! His life is an inspiration and an example of Service. Rest in peace Dr Shaw. My prayers are with the entire family.

Much respect.

Mary Ann, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family. God bless you all.

Mary Ann,

I will always remember the good times I shared with you and Buddy and "the Picadilly Club" while serving in the Louisiana Legislature. You were such a beautiful couple and will always be among my fondest memories of "good people" that became my legislative friends!

God bless you until we visit again...

Buddy Shaw was ALWAYS a gentleman and a delight to work with pertaining to my experiences. He will be missed by MANY. Best thoughts to his family for sharing him with so many.

Such wonderful memories of his laughter and his love of children no matter their age! He and MaryAnn are true witnesses of love and family!

Dr. B. L. Shaw was my principal at C.E. Byrd High School in the late 1970s. I have good memories of those impactful years because of his leadership. Our school thrived under his direction and, by extension, so did we. I'll forever proudly be a Yellow Jacket because of the great experience Dr. Shaw created during his tenure. His legacy will continue because his impact was so great. Condolences to the family. We all mourn with you.
