Not sure what to say?

The Man the Myth the Legend. I don't think one day goes by that I am not reminded of Blackie. I followed in my mentors footsteps. When people in the movie collectors circle ask me how do you know some much about universal horror films and universal players I always say Blackie Seymour tought me the movie poster business. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Thanks Blackiie for a lifetime of good memories. Rest In Peace.

Dear Elena,

Please accept my delayed condolences as I am only learning about this today. Blackie was a Legend and I cannot tell you how lucky and happy I was to have your family in my life growing up. I recall the wonderful part in a birthday poem:

"Why do his neighbors give him a car? Why do his neighbors think he's a star?"

"BECAUSE HE'S BLACKIE!"

Much love,

I Can still see him so clearly in my mind. ''Great memories.
My thoughts are with you !!!

Always enjoyed your articles in Classic Images and Films of the Golden Age. Hope you are having a ball meeting all the great film stars up in heaven.

i am shocked to hear about the passing of blackie. he was a true insperation to me, love cuddles

Dear Mrs Seymour, my deepest condolences to you on Blackie's passing. I knew Blackie back in the late 1960's when he use to live on Bell Hill. I use to go to his Sunday movie matinee's and like Freddie Poe i also bought my first movie poster from Blackie. May he be enjoying a Lon Chaney Jr flick up in that great movie theater in the heavens. Rest in Peace Blackie. Al Astrella, former Worm towner now living in Santa Cruz, CA

Alicia and Elena, and his many friend, please accept my deepest condolences. The world is a little greyer and less interesting now that he is gone. Rest in Peace, Blackie.

Elena,
I am truly sad to learn of the loss of your Dad. Our family so enjoyed the recollection of movie nights, and just plain schmoozing.

My sincerest condolences for your loss Alicia. You are in my thoughts and prayers ...
