Not sure what to say?

I have three short memories: 1. I interviewed Blaine when he first appeared on campus, looking to fill a spot alongside me in the government department at EPCC. He asked where his wife, Nancy, might apply for a job in El Paso. I said that she should apply at EPCC. She did, she got a position, and worked at high levels of administration for many years. 2. It was a joy to work with Blaine on winning a change in Texas law related to bond issues in Texas, a change that was highly favorable for...

I didn't know know Blaine well, but judging from who his mom was, he was a gem!

I was the first faculty member to interview and recommend Blaine for employment at EPCC. After only a few minutes into the meeting I knew that he would be a great colleague. Soon, his wife Nancy also began working with us at the college in administrative roles. We had many decades of productive and joyful work together. Blaine truly made the college and the community wonderful places to live and work.
He was our leader in getting a bond issue passed that to this day financially...

Blaine was a great colleague, delightful conversationalist, and had a great sense of humor. He was one of the original old timers at EPCC who was a true pillar of the college both as an administrator and instructor. He and his wife Nancy were also very progressive in their views and were great to be around. I send the whole family my sincerest condolences.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Very nice remembrance.

My heart goes out to the Nelson family. May the prayers of family and friends bring you some measure of comfort, and may Blaine rest in peace.

Cyndi, I am so sorry for your and your families loss. Just know that he is in a much better place with our Lord and is no longer in pain. May God Bless you and yours through this trying time. May God give you peace and comfort. "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen unheard but always near. Still loved still missed and very dear."

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm so glad I got to meet and spend time with Grace, Eric, Blaine, and their families. As I told Grace, if I had never met her, but only her sons, I would have to conclude that she must be a wonderful person.

My love for Blaine for all my life.
