I happened to look at an obituary for this fine young American, and while I can barely imagine the pain his loss has brought to his family, friends and all who love him, I felt privileged to gain some understanding of the man behind the name when I read the request from his family that everyone wear flip flops to his service - what a wonderful way to remember such a blithe spirit. I hope that as time goes by there will be better days in which you can all share the good times you spent...
