I met Blair in the hospital our beds where across from each other, and in the month, we shared the room I have to say he was the kindest bravest man. Through the skin grafts Ivs blood TransVision's I got to meet Marlene and the boys and some of the grandkids. He talked with so much love about them that it was a pleasure to finally meet them. I met Blair while in hospital. our beds were across from each other and in that month between the grafts blood trans iv's and staff I met a very brave, man who felt for others and always had a smile to keep all in our room in high spirits The love he had for his family and friends was contaction Marlene and the boys and the grandchildren was his one shining light to his day. I first met Blair (and Marlene) at a Little Brick Church concert hosted by their good friend Laurie Thain in Maple Ridge sometime in the´90´s. Coming from Washington State and knowing no one, Blair welcomed me as if we´d been friends for years, which we soon became. Each of my visits to many subsequent concerts, Blair and Marlene always seemed truly happy to see me.
