It's always sad to hear of someone's passing... However, this is different. Hearing of the loss of Blair Caboot is nothing short of a tragedy; one of the brightest lights in the world has gone out. Mr. Caboot was a brilliant math teacher who inspired me to become a math teacher as well. Undoubtedly, he influenced many others to pursue education or mathematics related fields.  He as a kind man with infinite patience and a wonderful sense of humor.
