My wife, Kathy, and I had the great fortune to have Pr. Monie perform our wedding ceremony at Wayne Presbyterian, in Pennsylvania, almost 34 years ago. He was such a caring pastor that provided a heartfelt and joyous service that we still remember fondly these many years on. Please accept our very belated condolences on your loss, we celebrate the man he was in certainty that he rests in paradise.

Once again hard to believe he is gone, just lost my Mom Eula Clark last month. I still long to find another pastor like him!!! My Mom was known in the church for making her crosses, together they are continuing God's work!

I am a former Austin Seminary student of Pastor Monie's. I am stunned to learn on his passing. I benefited from his years as a pastor and head of staff while taking his church leadership course. I had been thinking about him the past few months and today wanted to put my retiring pastor in touch with him. I became a better leader at work and am now better prepared for ministry, because of him. The world is a far better place because he was a Christian.
