SAMUELSON, Blair F. - Of Burton, age 80, died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service wase held Monday, November 1, 2010 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, the funeral home, Pastor Glenn Tatterson officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Flint Baptist Temple or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Blair was born in Flint on April 7, 1930, and resided in Flint all his life. On March 29, 1968, he married Dixie Tranbarger. Blair was employed with Grand Blanc Fisher Body for 30 years, retiring in 1979. He also owned Bristol Appliance Company. Blair attended Flint Baptist Temple. Surviving are wife, Dixie; children Dee Dee Rogers, Linda (Bob) Clifford, Pat Drinkwine, Blair (Joyce) Samuelson, Brenda Bond, Terry Samuelson, Ken (Deana) Bond, Genny (Jim) Flores, Ronda (Brad) Cole; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 5 brothers; 2 sisters.
