Blaise P. Black, 25, of Meridian, passed away Friday, July 7, 2006. A vigil will be held Monday, July 10, 2006 at 7 p.m. at St. Mark´s Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at 10 a.m. at St. Mark´s Catholic Church. A reception will follow services at the church....

You may or may not remember me, but I lived with Blaise his freshman year at Carroll. Blaise was a great guy. In the entire time I knew him, I never heard him say a negative word about anyone or anything. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Rob and Mikal,
We are so sorry to hear about Blaise. Losing a child has to be the toughest test of all. We cannot begin to even imagine the amount of pain you are enduring. There isn't much any of us can say except that our prayers are with you and your family. As we think of Blaise and the Black family, we think of basketball games and Our Lady of Good Council activities.
