I went through a really hard time In middle school. A lot of depression and loss and Blaise really was a light in my life. She always made me laugh and she inspired me because she was never afraid to be herself. I’m so so sorry for your loss. She was an amazing young woman. Sending prayers and hugs.

What a lovely woman - St. Blaise is often depicted with 2 candles - it is no coincidence that Blaise is remembered as being a bright light - she was blessed with the gift of being a truly beautiful emanation of the love of God and of her parents and thusly her sisters, family, and friends. She was so cherished and this is still hard. But may God keep her wrapped up in His embrace, and may Mary the Holy Mother hold her hand as she awaits a heavenly reunion with those she loved so much here.

We were pregnant at the same time, Mary. I remember how much Blaise was wanted and loved, and how excited you were to have her. I’m positive she knew that her whole life. Love and light to you all
