Our friendship goes all the way back to the sixth grade. I last saw him at a swim meet where his grandson was competing. In spite of his illness, he was positive and very proud of his family. We enjoyed sharing memories from back in the day. Rest in Peace friend, and condolences to his family.

I read of the loss you have sustained. Losing a loved one is never easy. One day, many will have the opportunity to live again. May the hope of everlasting life sustain and comfort your family during this sorrowful time. (John 17:3)
