Not sure what to say?

I first met Blake when I was with the Metrocrest News. I wrote a profile on him as a late-night radio personality my husband and I visited him a couple of times at the studio, too. We met for dinner several times (this was in the 1990s). After that, every so often, we'd touch base to say "hi" and to catch up on what we were doing. Blake was a man of deep faith, understanding, perseverance and kindness. He will be missed. Prayers go out to Jennifer and the rest of Blake's family.

Dear Jennifer and family I just learned of Blake `s passing and with heavy heart I offer you my most sincere condolences. Blake was one of those rare individuals who always had a smile on his face and with a those piercing blue eyes and an infectious, friendly personality he could win anyone over the moment they met him. Rest easy with Christ our Savior my friend, you are missed.

I was a former coworker of Blake at Dallas Area Rapid Transit, he has the best sense of humor, because jokes were my super power, we sat next to each other and I remember how powerful his voice was and that when I learned he worked in radio. He was a joy to work with and an inspiration for anyone who felt like giving up, he was proof you could do anything you set your mind to. My deepest condolences to the family, may his smile greet you in every memory as comfort.

Meeting Blake with my niece Avery a few years ago was an inspiration that will never leave me. We later had him at our golf tournament where he touched all who had the pleasure of hearing him speak. His bright light he left in this world will shine forever.

Sending deepest sympathies to Jennifer and Blake´s family. He was a light in our community, uplifting others with his encouraging words, caring ways and smile. An incredible leader, Blake had a special ability to bring people together for a cause. A gifted writer, announcer, but most of all, a cherished friend. We are all better for having known him.

Blake Lindsay lived such an exceptionally successful life. It was always my honor to be with him and help him as he led Dallas White Cane Day each year. I was also with him at many Lions Clubs events in the Dallas area, A great leader and a great person.

I met Blake and Jennifer at Market Street where I worked on the weekends. Such a great loving couple.

To the family: Many of us came to know Blake through public gatherings, onstage moments, and in the world of business. His commanding voice had the power to captivate any audience, and his leadership was truly admirable. He will be deeply missed by many.
