Heather and sisters, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your parents. Your Dad hired me many years ago (in the 80's) as an office nurse nearly fresh out of nursing school. I learned so much from him as he was a natural teacher and mentor for which I will never forget. He gave me the knowledge and self confidence to further my degree and become a cardiac nurse at St. Francis. I send you my most sincere sympathy and prayers for peace.

On those rare occasions when he didn't know the answer, he would delve deep until he found the information. He was thorough; after a physical, you knew he had done a complete...

What a magnificent tribute to a man who has left so many indelible marks in this world, as he worked to make it a better place. Blake was a true Renaissance man, and with such incredible intellect and insatiable curiosity. He was so passionate about everything that interested him. He will be so greatly missed, but he has left an amazing legacy in so very many ways, especially within his beloved daughters and grandsons. What a magnificent tribute this beautiful and well-written obituary is to...
