San Fernando Mission Cemeteries and Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary Obituary

Blanca Isela (Garcia) Martinez gently went to be with her LORD on Saturday, June 1st, 2024. She was an amazing Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Godmother, and Friend in her 51 years of life.

She was born March 31st, 1973, to Roberto Garcia-Vasquez and Matilda Arana in Guadalajara, Mexico. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Matilda Arana, husband of 31 years, Ramon Martinez and children, Isela Yvette Flores, Ramon Roberto Martinez, and Alfredo Martinez. She will also be fondly remembered by her two granddaughters, Ella-May, and Mila Eve.

At the age of 6 she moved to San Fernando, CA where she completed her education. Her first job was at 14 years old where she worked for Guardian Angel Catholic Church where the rest is history. She retired in 2020 following over 29 years of service with Catholic Cemeteries & Catholic Cemeteries & Mortuaries. She was a well-respected employee and a very loved and treasured friend to so many.

Blanca was generous, loving and kind. She always helped those in need. She loved to travel and entertain. She deeply loved her family including all extended families, and friends.

We and the rest of her friends and family will miss her very much.

Not sure what to say?

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

May God receive you with Open Arms. You finished your race strong. You will be missed. My deepest sympathy to your surviving family..

For ever in my heart Blanca

Blanca I thought of you today, but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
I think of you in silence, I often speak your name.
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake from which I'll never part.
God has you in His arms, I have you in my heart.
Te extrañaré siempre my best friend.

May you rest in peace.
