CIRKER--Blanche, co-founder of Dover Publications with her late husband, Hayward, died peacefully on May 21st in her home in Manhattan at the age of 103. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria and her grandchildren, Oliver and Jason. She will be sorely missed.

Blanche was a dear and loving friend to us both, and a faithful supporter of our training program for young singers for the past 15 years. She came to every June recital without fail, and this October, when we told her that we were moving to St. John's in the Village Church, she was excited that it would be in "her" neighborhood.
