If this is the Miss Schacter that was a gym teacher at Midwood H.S., then I would like to offer my condolences to her family as I remember her well - almost 50 years later!!! As a teacher she was a wonderful individual who won the hearts of her students...even if she did insist that girls had to play basketball by some inane "girl's rules"!!! (Only the "rover" could cross the midline of the court!!, and every shot had to be taken from behind the foul line!!) Nonetheless, she left behind fond...
