Patti, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. The obituary was a beautiful tribute. She certainly sounds like an amazing woman!

We remember Evelyn so fondly as we lived next door for more than 12 years. We could often find Wyatt over there "helping" her in the garden, eating crackers in her kitchen, or helping himself to a Thanksgiving meal one time (how embarrassing). She was always out mowing her lawn, chatting with the neighbors. I sadly remember the day the tree came down in the front yard, and the photo she showed me of when it was planted.
