Dr. Clark's is the first face I remember seeing in 1957 in the New Britain General Hopsital ER when, as a 4 1/2 yr old I required an appendectomy. He walked beside the stretcher I was on, allowing my mother to walk with us, comforting me the entire way to the OR.
