ALVAREZ, Bo Francisco, age 9, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012. He was born on January 25, 2003, in Beckley, West Virginia, to Dr. J.C. Alvarez and Michelle Rice. He is survived by his father, Dr. J.C. Alvarez; mother, Michelle Rice; siblings, Luke, Haile, Adrian, Valentina, and Bobby; paternal grandparents, Oscar and Sonia Alvarez; and maternal grandparents, Bob and Bridgette Rice. We will honor Bo with a Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 2, 2012, at 12 Noon at the St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 882 Bay Street, Sebring, FL 33870. All are welcome. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bo Alvarez Children's Foundation, P.O. Box 39455, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33339. JC, everyone that has known of Bo's passing has had the same reaction: that child was alive because of his father, the life expectancy of children in that state is very short, He lived years beyond any expectations because of his father. You must be at peace because Bo had the best father I have ever known, your dedication, sacrifice, there are no words to describe everything you did you exhausted every avenue to try to make Bo better.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I pray that God pulls you through your time of grief. Bo touched a lot of lives and he can rest in peace knowing he has saved lives as well. That is something to be proud of because your son truly is a hero.
