Dear Kaye,
We are so saddened to learn of the loss of your dear husband, a giant in the world of the courts, but an approachable and kind, wonderful human being. I treasure the times we spent with him as he traveled to the Kansas Arts Commission meetings with you. Though we miss you so much in Topeka, it is wonderful you are with your family in Wichita. My love and sincere sympathy to you and your family.

Bob was a good friend of mine. He was a marvelous jurist and an honor to the legal profession and to the bench and bar of the state of Kansas. My thoughts and prayers go out to Bob's family.

We are saddened by the passing of an exemplary member of the legal community. Our respect for Bob Abbott has always been extremely high and his passing leaves a hole in our hearts. We extend our condolences to Kaye, Bryce & Bren, whom we know, and to his daughters as well as to the grandchildren. We're sorry.
