Bob Barden, Jr. , a bandsman (and summer Jazz promoter), a motorcycle enthusiast, a loyal son, brother and peer and an outstanding public servant including as the Thrift Sale chair and president of the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor. Whew! Oh, as a Jaycee president, Bob chaired the annual community fireworks display and the Ann Arbor Air Force performance (Bob, Sr., a pilot) at the Ann Arbor Airport. He composed a thoughtful poem about the Kiwanis Sale in praise of its teamwork and community...

Marti & Family, My condolences to you all. I had the privilege of knowing Bob for many years through our industry trade association. Well respected by all and a true gentleman. I enjoyed the wisdom he was always gracious to share and of course the laughs. Great memories from a great man.
