As a youngster in the mid 1950's, Bob was my hero when he was a two-time All America full back at UCLA. My mom ironed the number 27 patches and shoulder bars on my t shirts that I wore with pride. I list myself as a friend because it's the way he made me feel. Thank you sir for the joy you brought to my life and rest in your eternal reward.
