Bob Dale Devor

BOB DALE DEVOR 71 of Siloam Springs, AR went to be with the Lord at his home on Friday, June 13, 2014 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Bob was born November 18, 1942 in Chester, OK; he was the son of Arthur Agnew Devor and Halie Mae Harris Devor. He served his Country honorably in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the VFW Post 1674 in Siloam Springs. Bob was the widower of the late Pauline Devor. As a farmer he was a hard worker and belonged to several organization; the Arkansas Cattleman's Association, President of the Siloam Springs Riding Club for a number of years, Board of Directors for the Ozark Jr Rodeo Association for a number of years. Bob enjoyed fishing and liked to ride horses and motorcycles and had owned many businesses in the area. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Siloam Springs. Survivors include: Julie Devor Webb and husband Cameron and two grandchildren Dakota & Wyattcolby Bobbi Devor and granddaughter Bobbilee Steve Hoeller and wife Cindy and grandchildren Alyssa, Trenton and Troy Deloris Eggert and granddaughter Dena and two great grandchildren Roger Hoeller and family The late Greg Hoeller and two grandchildren Kristina Hoeller and Tyler Quebodeaux and three great grandchildren Bob is also survived by a number of grand and great grandchildren. His sister Pat Calico and husband Gene and family His sister-n-law Leila Devor-Willis. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Halie, wife Pauline Devor, a son Greg Hoeller and a brother Gene Devor. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the funeral home from 6pm – 8pm with cremation to follow. Arrangements were made under the direction of Backstrom – Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
