Bob Eidd

Eidd, Bob Bob Eidd, age 75, of Highland Village, TX passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013. Born on May 22, 1937 in Houston, TX to Basil G. Eidd and Julia May Kalleen Eidd, Bob married Linda McLemore September 1, 1957, a year after meeting at Humble Oil in Houston where they were both employed. After moving to Highland Village in 1963, they became members of First United Methodist Church where both were active working with the youth group and serving on various committees. Bob served on the first city council for Highland Village and acted as a deputy - the kids and their friends called him Deputy Dog. He worked as a claims adjuster first at Trinity Universal and then Ohio Casualty insurance companies, retiring in 1997, after which he worked with the family business of Eidd Reporting,Video & Records for several more years. He and Linda are current members of Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound. Bob is survived by wife Linda, children Janice Eidd-Meadows and Bobby Eidd, grandchildren Jacqueline Jones and Chad Hudson, great grandchildren Meah and Colt Jones and brothers Basil and Doug Eidd. A celebration of Bob's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9th at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, followed by internment at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton and a celebration of life at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound.
